Threads

A thread lift is a technique that uses thin threads of polydioxanone (PDO) inserted under the skin to gently reposition tissue and stimulate collagen production to increase volume. Thread lifts can be used to treat specific areas, or they can be used in “weaves” to stimulate more volume and create a more youthful look in larger areas. The threads dissolve over time, but they leave in their place smoother, fresher, younger-looking skin.

Polydioxanone threads are FDA approved and are safe with little or no side effects.

Thread lifts do not produce as dramatic results as a surgical facelift, but can provide very noticeable differences. These targeted treatments may help you resolve specific issues of concern. An evaluation by our expert staff can help you make an informed decision of a thread lift is right for you. The age of the typical Thread Lift patient is from about 30 to 55.
